South African Amapiano DJ duo TxC join hands with Afrobeats ruler Davido, Zanku pioneer Zlatan, rising vocalist Shoday and Amapiano phenomenon Scotts Maphuma for an electric live version tagged “Nakupenda – Live in London”.
This high-octane cross-continental collab comes at a time when worldwide music enthusiasts are craving explosive fusions of South African log drums with Lagos street energy. The ensemble gets the arena-sized concert feel, transforming the romantic classic into an adrenaline-fueled party anthem that’s ready to shake up late-night festival stages and dancefloors.
The sound builders build a joyful mid-tempo Amapiano atmosphere on the boards, punctuated by banging kick drums, snappy percussion shakers and speaker-rattling log drum patterns.
Scotts Maphuma and Davido own the vocal pocket with deep harmonies and impassioned delivery, while Zlatan and Shoday bring raw street grit, quick ad-libs and viral dancing cadences.
